355 mm size polyethylene pipe is one of the most widely used types of polyethylene pipe and is used as the main pipe for the main water transmission lines. Also, 355 mm size polyethylene pipe is used in various industries to transfer all kinds of fluids.
355 mm polyethylene pipe, which is also known as 14 inch pipe, with PE80 material grade and working pressure of 5 atmospheres, is produced in two types of white polyethylene pipe and black polyethylene pipe, in 6 and 12 meters according to the customer's needs.
The maximum wall thickness of 355 mm PE80 5 atmosphere polyethylene pipe is 15.1 mm and the minimum wall thickness of this pipe is 13.6 mm. The equivalent weight of one meter of 355 mm polyethylene pipe (14 inch pipe) made with PE80 material with a working pressure of 5 atmospheres is equivalent to 14.8 kilograms.
Tests performed on polyethylene pipe 355 mm PE80 pressure 5 atmospheres
The products of Kia poly pipe Company are produced under the supervision of quality control systems in accordance with OHSAS 18001 under international and national certificates. In this collection, all polyethylene pipes are qualitatively tested. At this stage, the quality of all pipes is tested by performing different quality tests. Having a laboratory equipped with technical testing and quality control equipment, Kia poly pipe Complex is capable of producing high quality polyethylene products. This case is one of the prominent features of Kia poly pipe Company, which has led to the expansion of polyethylene pipe exports to neighboring countries.
The tests performed on 355 mm PE80 polyethylene pipe at a pressure of 5 atmospheres in the laboratory of Kia poly pipe Water Factory include the following.
• Melt flow index test (ISO 1133),
• Density determination test (ISO 1183),
• Test to determine the carbon test (ASTM D 1603),
• Tensile test (ASTM D 2412),
• Hydrostatic pressure test (EN 921),
• Burst pressure test (ASTM D 1599),
• Thermal return test (ISO 2505),
• Measuring the dimensions and checking the appearance of the pipe (ISO 11922),
• O.I.T test,
• Compression test (ISO 4437)
