One of the most used pipes in sewage networks is the 110 mm PE80 polyethylene pipe or 4 inch pipe.
4-inch polyethylene pipe with a pressure of 6 atmospheres is produced in Kia poly pipe Company with polyethylene materials in two types: black polyethylene pipe and white polyethylene pipe. All the pipes produced by this company are produced according to the national standard of Iran 14427-2 (water supply systems with heavy polyethylene pipes).
The weight of each meter of 110 mm polyethylene pipe or 4 inch polyethylene pipe is 1.79 kg, and the maximum wall thickness of 110 mm polyethylene pipe is 6.0 mm and the minimum wall thickness is 5.3 mm.
One of the reasons for using 4-inch pipes for sewage is its anti-corrosion properties, resistance to pressure and cracking, and the high useful life of these pipes.
